Paulo A. Munoz a.k.a. Der Mystik was born in March 2nd of 1978 in Pereira city , the capital of Risaralda state, in Colombia. At his early age, he started practicing music with a keyboard and took piano & flute classes when he was in High School but he never completed the program. He finished high school and a couple of years later, he moved to New York, and there he found out about a music game called "MTV Music Generator 2" for the Playstation 2, which he bought with the very first check of his regular job and started making sounds with it. "It is not a professional program, you can't make serious dance music with it, but it taught me the basics of music production, it helped me to understand the use of reverb and delay, how to arrange a track, and developed my ear to make beautiful melodies without using a keyboard", said Der Mystik. In 2004, he moves to California , and is there where he creates his first solid musical attempt, "Garden of Whispers" using FL Studio , which was supported by Suzy Solar in her etn.fm show "Solar Sessions". In the beginning of the third quarter of 2005, Paulo A. Munoz wins the UKTA 2005 Anthem Competition with his track "Eye of the Vortex" and starts playing regularly his internet shows in several stations. From this point, Der Mystik's music has been heard through several record labels such as Armada Music, Neuroscience Recordings , Moonrising Records , Istmo Music, RealMusic Recordings and Redux Recordings, as well as CD compilations like "Transmasters 5004" , "Sin Fronteras", "Mellomania Step 13" and "Magic Island Music For Balearic People" and getting the unconditional support by respected Djs such as Roger Shah, Aly & Fila, Markus Schulz, Flash Brothers, Graham Gold, Pedro Del Mar, Sebastian Brandt, Les Hemstock, Tyler Michaud, Nicholas benisson and more. In 2007 Der Mystik and Alex Reliic brought the concept of Real Legacy Records and in January 2008 they opened the doors to the public, featuring artists such as Vira & Aerium, Callum B, Type, Daniel Loubscher, Jake Shanaham among many talented others. Brandings such as Real Legacy Radio and Rockin' Your World were born, this latest firstly known as his 2nd solo single at Real Legacy Records, then it became a radio show and if his plans go as planned, the name of his compilation series. 2009 begins , Real Legacy Music is born, leaving Real Legacy Records as a sub-label for Trance music. He opens the year with three promising releases with the mentioned, with more to come during the year. In May 2009 Real Legacy Music shuts down.
