Beta:Blocker
In the End of the 80's Beta:Blocker purged to the electronic music, began with Synth Pop music of Kraftwerk, New Order and of course Depeche Mode, whose sound he`s also enjoying nowadays . When the music direction disappeared in the beginning 90's ever to the more then at the beginning in sinking, he turned first to Hard-Rock and Heavy Metal. At that time he also decided to make music in that direction, by learning the electric-guitar. However the enthusiasm for the instrument flew away very quickly, because he found ever more favour to the arising Techno-Movement. The thing that inspired him in this music, and still does, is that this sound works global. In Beta:Blocker`s opinion this kind of music delivers energy, which can't be found in any other musical direction. The Mayday set of Paul van Dyk in the year 2000 strengthened him the resolution to begin spinning records hisself. He bought two turntables and a mixer and practiced from now on as often as possible. The first gigs on private Parties followed, the feedback was pretty well, only his own style wasn't found at that moment . He depended on the mass and played mainly commercially oriented Hardtrance. By DJs such as Paul van Dyk and later Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, he concentrated more and more on the Trance sounds outside of the usual mainstream. That is the sound he is still mainly dropping.
