Back in 1996, Derrick Carter and Moodymann made the world aware of After Midnight Records. The likes of Wam Kidz, Floris, Hardsoul, Blakkat, Mateo & Matos, DJ Tonka and Ian Pooley made it into the well respected underground label that it is today. These days guys like S.W. and Collective sound Members represent that After Midnight feeling. At Dance Valley 2001 the Labelland tent was the place to see some of the After Midnight heroes rock the crowd. King Britt with Rose, Moodymann, Floris (live) and special guest DJ Sneak, represented the label, with the infamous cutting-edge yet timeless music the label is known for.
