Matt Holliday was born on 25th February 1984 in a small town called Shirley in the United Kingdom. He spent most of his childhood years and early adult years racing bikes in xc mountain bike, cyclo x, time trial and road race events. His first major intrest in music came at the age of 11 when he heard tracks such as Rank 1 'Airwave' and System F 'Out Of The Blue'. At the age of 19 Matt was producing his own music and DJ'ing in local bars. His first release was a remix for Enhanced Music: Perpetual Feat. Tiff Lacey 'Restless' which recieved support from Paul Van Dyk. Following on from from the success of his 'Restless' remix came his debut single: 'Your Touch' which was supported by Above & Beyond. Since the success of his first releases Matt has spent countless hours in the studio working on new projects and perfecting his craft. As an artist Matt's signature style is fast becoming a favorite for many and he is becoming a regular name on some of the most famous record labels in the world including Discover Deep, Enhanced Music and Nu Communicate. As a DJ Matts performances are amazing. It's clear to see why this guy is fast becoming known as "the gentleman of trance".
