Zimbardo's new label Benchmarc launches 2006. Having rocked the floors of the worlds clubs, DJing from Chile to Kazakhstan, Taiwan to the USA, Russia to Singapore and beyond, no-one can deny the passion and energy that Z so obviously has for House Music. Over the past few years alongside his longstanding production partner Piliavin, P&Z have remixed and produced for some of the finest labels in the world including Sondos, Star69, Juicy Music, Stereo, and many more, and remix credits taking on the likes of Jocelyn Brown, Peter Rauhoffer, Loleatta Holloway, Ann Saunderson (Inner City), Afrika Bambaata and the list goes on. Also their stellar imprint Distraekt Records has played host to the likes of Terry Farley, Smokin Jo, Robbie Rivera, Steve Angello, D.Ramirez, Tim Healey (Coburn), Flash Brothers and a whole host of other top names in the biz So now in 2006, Z is taking the reins of this, his first solo project, and delivering an altogether different sound. And with a pedigree like the one above you know you're going to get something special from Z. The first release is from the UK's finest, Deepgroove, and certainly shows that Benchmarc means business.
