Passionate about music from an early age, Chris Dececio's music has been heard in clubs around the globe and has been featured on compilations worldwide. Chris' first 2 releases were drum 'n' bass tracks... both receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1 by John Peel and Steve Lamacq. Chris' first trance release came in November 2000. 'Spectrum' under the artist name Dececio was hammered by DJs from Nick Warren, to Graham Gold... the track featured on the Slinky compilation mixed by Guy Ornadel as well as establishing Chris overseas, featuring on various compilations including the D:Fuse Progressive Mix Session in the US. By this time, Chris had generated much interest in his productions, and was asked to remix Moogue's 'China Girl' for Inferno Records. The track was a hit in Ibiza during the summer of 2001 and reached No.9 in the UK Club Chart. His next remix was of 'Possession' by Transfer on Multiply Records. The track reached No.4 in the UK Club Chart. Chris's next original single was a slightly more experimental project under the name Insignia, signed to 3Beat Records. 'Revelation' was hammered by the likes of John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Oakenfold, Scott Bond, and Sasha. The Redd Square project on Inferno Records was born in early 2002. The single 'In Your Hands' featuring Tiff Lacey was remixed by Minimalistix and became a huge club hit during the summer of 2002... being hammered by trance DJs around the world and was featured as Tune Of The Week on BBC Radio 1. The track reached No.3 in the UK Club Chart and No.18 in the UK Dance Singles Chart. It was also featured on various compilations internationally, including Ibiza Euphoria, Trance Nation 2003, and The Ultimate Trance Album... In late 2005 the Redd Square project was signed to Purple Eye Entertainment in Holland. The first single 'Run Away' received support worldwide and led to Chris remixing Ferry Corsten's 'Whatever!'. The track firmly established Chris as a world class producer with plays from DJs across the globe, numerous compilation inclusions, and 12 weeks plays on BBC Radio 1 from Judge Jules and Dave Pearce. Chris' Insignia project was signed to highly respected Five AM Records in late 2006, the single "Kaleidoscope Eyes" served to further establish Chris as a key producer with support from Matt Darey, Ron Van Den Beukken, Dave Pearce, Ferry Corsten (who brought in the new year with it at a huge street party in downtown LA!) etc. 2007 saw the release of the Insignia single "Piano In The Rain" on Five AM, and the licensing of the first Bellatrax single (Chris' main house project) "I Can't Help Myself" to the well respected Oxyd Records in Italy. The track was further licensed to Nervous Records USA, Spinnin Records Holland, Blanco Y Negro Spain and many more. During 2008 ?I Can?t Help Myself? was featured on many high profile compilations such as Ministry?s Clubbers Guide 2008, Clubbers Guide Summer 2008, Ministry Sessions, Hed Kandi San Francisco and many more. The track blew up in the US and held the no.1 spot of the Billboard Dance Airplay Chart for 3 weeks, and was the 2nd most played dance single on US radio all year. The Redd Square project has now been signed to heavyweight trance label Monster Tunes. The current single "Digital Acoustics" including an Onova remix is out now...
