The Acid Elf was part of the rave scene in the Vancouver area in the early 90s. It was at this time that he fell in love with Acid music. This prodigy had been producing and recording his own rock, electronica and experimental music since he was 10 in 1987. Aside from playing bass, guitar and drums in many local bands, Acid Elf had developed his own unique style by 1992. He had already composed and recorded hundreds of classic tracks with his signature sound by the time he released his first techno albums when he was 18 in 1994. From 1995 on, Acid Elf continued to produce Acid and electronica tracks, but adventures of love, education, travel, and spirituality prevented him from promoting his music for several years. From 1997 onwards he released a large amount of non-electronica music in various styles under different names, completing 3 tours of the USA while continuing to produce Acid and electronica. It was only after a long sabbatical that the Acid Elf was able to start promoting and releasing his Acid and electronica music again in 2005 within the re-emerging Rave scene. At this time he began incorporating computers into his music making process, and playing live and DJing regularly from his Laptop. Now, he releases new Acid House/Rave/Techno music along side of other favorite styles, and is in the process of making new Acid tracks and remastering many of his old Acid and electronica tracks for release and free download. He DJ's and plays live with his Laptop and/or his vintage Roland Acid boxes such as the TB-303, SH-101, TR-606 and TR-707.
