The brainchild of quirky production duo BooBoo Johnson and Philip Stone, Airbiscuit were founded in Cambridge in 2001. BooBoo began his career drumming with numerous rock bands around the country while Philip was making moves into dance music after a successful period as a guitarist and vocalist. The pair spent much of last year recording their debut album 'Caldo/Fredo', featuring the first single 'Lately' which caused a huge stir at this year's Miami Conference. M8 described the single as 'a beautifully produced gem with the sweetest vocal' and will be featuring the band in their July issue. With MTV joining the plaudits by playlisting their single, this looks like it will be a big year for Airbiscuit.
