Abstraction is a Trance label originated in Ukraine, CIS (former Soviet Union) by a trance producer Yevgeniy Bednik who has been interested in making own music since he was 15 years old. An enormous fan of trance genre, he observed that Ukrainian producers are not getting the spotlight they deserved, which is why he decided to open his own label to give the chance to Ukrainian producers to be heard. Label, though, has a few residents who are not from Ukraine. The label has just recently opened its doors (in 2006) and has a few releases, but it is just a start.
Abstraction Records is the first and only trance label in Ukraine.
