sebastiaan spang
Born on the sixth of June 1979 Sebastiaan Spang, better known as Six Senses, grew up in the small town of de Krim in the Netherlands. He comes from a musical family, so it isnt a big surprise that he has a great interest in music. When he was young he learnt to play the piano and listened to a lot of synthesizer music from artists such as Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis, amongst others. At the time he didnt realise that this would be his inspiration for taking up music production and a key reason behind him being such a talented artist.
The first computer based music he produced was on his old Commodore 64 and was classical orientated. Later on he started to produce EDM beginning with hardcore/gabber using a program called Fast tracker. In that time he met a very open minded producer, Don Diablo who helped him a lot. This would be his introduction to an evolving genre of the time called trance.
Hooked on the melodies and sense of euphoria the listeners attained hearing trance, Sebastiaan had found all the inspiration he would ever need and set to work on creating similar pieces of music. It was not long before he was snapped up by several labels under his alias Six Senses which caters for the more melodic side of Trance. Sebastiaan is well on the way to becoming a leading producer in the scene and shows his versatility by producing harder edged Tech Trance exclusively for Soup Recordings.
