Sly One and Jurrane are two of the fastest-rising talents from the London trance scene with over a decade's experience of top-quality DJ and production work between them. Best known for their varied, dynamic and versatile DJ sets and powerful, uplifting productions, both artists have been regular fixtures at the capital's trance parties for several years, helping to provide the soundtrack to one of the most vibrant party cities in the world.
Since meeting in at a Extreme Euphoria event in 2001, Sly One (Graham Crockford) and Jurrane (Jim Voute) have become great friends and production partners, and launched the Magic Beans Records imprint together the following year, from which Sly's superb 'Gamma Storm' was the seminal, standout track. Since then, their productions have had support from some of the biggest names in trance, including Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, John Askew, Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, John Fleming, Jon O'Bir, Agnelli & Nelson, John O'Callaghan, Stoneface & Terminal, Thrillseekers, Daniel Kandi, Kyau vs Albert, Ernesto & Bastien, Manuel le Saux, Ian Betts, Adam White, Niklas Harding and Andy Bagguley, and many more, and have seen airplay on Armin's A State Of Trance, Above & Beyond's Trance Around the World, BBC Radio One, ID&T, Ministry Of Sound, Vonyc.com, DI.FM and ETN.FM.
Sly One and Jurrane are building a substantial discography across some of the most highly-regarded trance labels in the world. The pair's debut collaboration 'Time Bomb' was released on Discover Dark to great acclaim in 2007, and remixes have followed for labels such as Six Thirty, Emalodic, Conspiracy, Future State, Propulsion, Archangel and Perceptive. 'Second Summer', the long-awaited follow-up to 'Time Bomb', promoed in September 2008 to a massive response.
In a testament to their DJ skills, both Jurrane and Sly One are monthly residents for the incredible Planet Angel parties in London. One of the true underground phenomenas in UK clubland, Planet Angel regularly draws up to a thousand passionate clubbers to a major venue without any advertising at all: a testament to the power of the brand and the ability of its promoters and resident DJs. In addition to their monthly residencies at Planet Angel, Sly One and Jurrane have appeared both individually and together at parties such as The Gallery @ Turnmills, Judgement Sundays, Knowwhere, Wildchild, Vaccine, Innovate, Trance Generation, Tidy vs Extreme Euphoria, Heat, Polysexual, Twisted and numerous other smaller promotions. In addition, Jurrane was flown across to Cape Town, South Africa, to headline at the world-famous Liquid club (formerly the Gallery), alongside some of South Africa's up-and-coming DJ talent.
