In July 2003, Pascal Van Eijk aka DJ Precision set up his own record company. As an experienced A&R he managed labels like Silver Premium and Jinx UK in the past, with artists like Signum, Katana, Mac Zimms, Mark Norman and several others. Besides this, he's also salesmanager at Only-DJs.com - the largest online vinylstore - and DJ, spinning at clubs and events all over the world. During all these activities he often noticed a growing dissatisfaction under many trance fans about the direction trance music was heading to. In order to change this, he decided to set up Somatic Sense Recordings. So far the label did three releases which can be found in the record cases of many of the biggest DJs worldwide, including: Armin Van Buuren, Jon O'Bir, Cosmic Gate, Johan Gielen, Talla 2XLC, Goldenscan, Dumonde, Marco V, Katana, Ferry Corsten, Rank 1, Dazzle, Misja Helsloot, Ronald van Gelderen aka Kid Vicious and many others! The tracks are also featured on many compilations, including ID&T's Sensation White and DJ Jean's Madhouse! They were also picked as Future Favourite (Armin van Buuren in his A State Of Trance radioshow) and Massive Record (Johan Gielen in his Lift Off radioshow). Make sure to keep an eye on Somatic Sense Recordings in 2004, because we're planning to launch a new sublabel, hosting many new artists! The main goal of the label will be to release uplifting trance tracks from a blend of upcoming artists as well as some more experienced ones. So only expect fresh releases which will open your eyes!
