Abora Recordings emerged onto the scene in October 2004 with the release of Icone's, massive instrumental trancer, Sorrow. This was accompanied by a huge Hemstock & Jennings remix. The track set the tone for what was to come, underground trance with overground credentials. Luis Kala was the second release to hit the stores, coming at the beginning of 2005. The emergence of Abora Recordings' sister label, Connected Music saw Abora take a back seat for much of 2005. Now, in 2006, it is back. Run by Josef Wardle, Nottingham based label looks set to embrace the digital future. After much restructuring and an all round shake up of things, Abora intends to establish itself, distinct from its sister label; the aim to forge a reputation of its own once more.
