Nukleuz was established by UK Media Records boss Peter Pritchard in 1996 in order to create a quality non-hit club label. The very first releases on the label were funky house but within a couple of years it had released its first UK hard house productions. This developed pace with the whole brand exploding at the end of the last millennium. Nukleuz has had many fans spanning the world with its artists playing from San Fran to Tokyo, Sydney to Cape Town. But it has been most importantly a UK dance phenomenon with hard house dominating sounds from 2000 through to 2004. Clubs like Frantic & Heat in London, Sundissential & Godskitchen & Tidy events in the North of the UK would be dominant and driven by the sounds of Nukleuz.
