glo tech africa records
Glo-Tech Africa Records is a record label that creates a platform for artistes, Glo-Tech artistes and other artistes of a similar mindset, who wish to grow and develop their sound on a global scale by committing itself to identifying and developing up-coming artistes as opposed only licensing the latest "Chart-topper", just to boost sales. This dedication has led Glo-Tech to the point where it has become the home of supreme artistes such as Ryan Sullivan, Ivan Kenny, Andre Supra, MPI Project, Denton Wilmot, Monroe Munik, Amoeba, Hans von Burg, Jasper Williams, J.P. Elliot, Eli, Yahyaa Mohamed and Fawad Naqvi, each of whom is an established, reputable artiste within their respective sects. Glo-Tech Africa wields an approach that forges development and professionalism within the global music industry, with motivation based on an unmatched love for African music that is outlined by the need to formalise and maintain steadfast relations with all forms of music-based networks. With the correct structure and professional image, these relations act as a double-edged buffer: " Artiste development being the core focus - young talented artistes are given the opportunity and the means to further refine their skills as professional artistes (this includes further training on studio software/hardware, event co-ordinating, playing gigs, image consulting and a solid general understanding of the industry) " With the necessary networks in place and a tangible representation of the South African market, this buffer acts as the front-line of protection for all local artistes who choose to be represented by the "Glo-Tech Africa Music Group". Protection extends as far as ensuring that the artistes' work is rewarded according to merit of the quality (by global standards) of their work Glo-Tech has become a reckonable force, touring all over Southern Africa - with regular, specialised label evenings that span from Johannesburg to Cape Town, annual coastal tours and of course frequent "Afri-Ground" events (organised by Glo-Tech as a platform for like-mined artistes). Glo-Tech Africa Records is a hugely successful production outfit with a pro-active approach to Africa's diverse, musical sub-cultures. This strength is evident in the quality their material and in their need to assist, expose and develop talented, dedicated producers/writers.
