POINT ZERO is a new record label who aim to produce good quality psychedelic music that is accessible to many people even outside the underground scene. The label was born from the creative imagination of three individuals who have been extensively involved in the psychedelic scene for long time and now feel they have something new to contribute to this well established scene. As POINTZERO Recs, our first production is a compilation,  RADIOACTIVITY, which consists of professional and well established artists with a great reputation in psychedelic music, such as PSYSEX (Homega), RINKADINK (Alchemy), FREAKULIZER (Alchemy), and PROJECT FM (Pointzero). With such talented artists and strong production, we feel we can deliver a product of the highest quality. Our target demographic is between the ages of 16 to 40 years old but we hope to appeal to an even wider audience in the future. Because of our experience in both techno and chillout production, we are working to produce some techno influenced psychedelic that could bring in a younger audience and also some psychedelic chillout that could interest an older audience. Who are PointZero? Each of the members in Pointzero come from a different musical background that lends an individual style to their work and makes the music both highly original and appealing to a large audience. PETER WELGEMOED aka ZEUS is a multitalented DJ originally from Johannesburg, South Africa. He has established himself as a well known full on psychedelic trance DJ with a techno edge who plays at events all over Europe and South Africa, organises psychedelic events in London and is now interested in production. FABRIZIO MOTTA aka METAPHASE is a multi talented DJ from Italy who stormed into the UK psytrance scene nearly ten years ago. He has worked in the promotion of Antiworld events for several years and has had the privilege to play at many great parties in the UK and abroad. MAX STELLATO is a highly talented multi instrumentalist, DJ and producer in pop, rock and chill out, who has performed, written and produced music for TV and Radio all over Europe. From almost twenty years of experience in creating music Max has developed a strong compositional ability and level of production that he brings to this project. Together we combine our musical styles into developing this label, which produces original psychedelic music. Our vision in producing psychedelic is to convey the energy of FUNK TECHNO ROCK within a PSY TRANCE context. The style of our music is a new language characterised by a funky psychedelic beat with driving basslines, which blends the sound of the latest digital technology with the forgotten primitive rhythms of trance.
