Ava

Following on from the recent Armada / Audio Jelly download chart success of his first ever remix for the Gerome Feat Pamela Baz - Miracle release featured on the Digital Insomnia imprint. Guy Alexander brings us his first ever production titled 'Ava'. Written in Uplifting Trance Style and inspired by the birth of his daughter also named 'Ava'.

The Original Mix is built around a deep rhythmic bass sequence with dance style percussion overlaid by the main melodic theme which is played by a piano and then reprised by other instruments. Guy quotes: "Every time I listen to this track is fills me with emotion and joy that I get from my daughter on a daily basis, words cannot describe the feeling of joy this brings".

The first remix is from DJ Shy. Smooth echoing sounds play the melody against an atmospheric background, with an imaginative use of strings to create rhythm. 'Shy' captures the Uplifting essence of the track in a laidback style to make a really solid remix.

Bilal El Aly delivers a Tech - Trance remix where the track begins with atmosphere, detuned synths, lots of space and then grows into a more tech based edgy vibe.

The third remix comes from West Midlands producer Rhodium stamping his own unique style with a darker, heavier Tech - Trance interpretation of the original track using new features of pounding basslines, edgy stuttered leads and stops.

Lastly, we introduce DJ Ives M & DJ T.H. Trance Remix, with its rolling bassline and chorded stabs. The piano takes up the theme in front of an atmospheric background which has distinctive orchestral instruments and effects.
