Deal With It E.P

Pedram Mehrshahi AKA Pedramovich has, over the past few years built a solid reputation for his personal take on deep and tech fuelled house. The Iranian born, UK based producer has been immersed in club culture from a tender age, but itʼs his releases and remixes for labels such as Hypercolour, Four Twenty and Supernature that have really drawn attention to his musical talents.

The ʻDeal With It EPʼ kicks of with the wonderful, wonky bass wizardry of ʻSizemoreʼ, a stripped down shuffling workout of squelches, hits and hats with subtle riffs and pitch shifted spoken word vocals. The bumping groove is as hypnotic as anything youʼll hear, only broken up by clever drops in the arrangement, quality stuff.

Second of the three original recordings comes in the shape of title track ʻDeal With Itʼ, a techy tinged house cut that draws on keys, stabs and percussion to deliver a superbly quirky record that is bound to be a late night favourite.

Moving on we have the exotically titled ʻParmigani Esperanzoʼ a track which journeys into the realms of deep soundtrack house with ambient washes, vinyl crackles and off kilter pad melodies providing a wonderfully laid back and engaging vibe.

The first of the two remixes seeʼs Get the Curse music boss, Clement Meyer getting to grips with opener ʻSizemoreʼ. Meyer breaks the original apart and reworks things into a 80ʼs influenced electro / house fusion that jacks up the intensity with panning FX and taught vocal edits and ends up with a mix that is a true gem.

Finally we have excellent Shenoda who takes ʻDeal With Itʼ into the realms of rollinʼ Chicago house with a mix that hits the groove from the off and simple doesnʼt let go!
