Ben Engert aka BeN NolaN, born in 1981, was raised in Baden Wurttemberg, Germany.

Already in his early youth he discovered his affection for electronicmusic. At the age of thirteen he got his first turntables, very soonfollowed by a mixing desk. From then on, the way to becoming a DJ was well paved. Continuously searching for the latest sounds in the record stores, hestarted to build up an impressive collection of vinyl records.

Simultaneously, his skills improved and he developed a sophisticatedfeeling for the right set up to catch the audiance. After having experimented with Hardtechno / Acid und Trance, he got addicted to house music. Spinning records in various local discothecs he earned himself a solidreputation as a guest DJ. Consequently, an invitation to the party'Taste the Pain', hosting 3000 visitors, followed soon. Benconvincingly enlighted the audiance with electro and house music.

While his career was progressing, for instance with gigs in Poland orthe Czech Republic and on a luxurious and exclusive party boat inEgypt, he adapted his style accordingly and ended up having his genuineset of techno/minimal/electro music.

The wish to take part in the producing business and to influence thescene with his rich experience grew naturally and became eventually sostrong that he decided to invest in a recording studio. There he's now not only assembling new DJ sets, drawing on an immanearchive, but also producing his own shaking and affecting style ofmusic.
