Opener Jus Groove has a defiant swagger in its rhythm, bold, confident and with some nice pitch bending changes keeping proceeding interesting. The beats hit hard with relentless cymbals, while the overall groove is infectious. Which has already seen early radio support from Fergie.

Shades is a multi-layered techno masterclass. It kicks off with rhythmic vocal samples, which provide an alternative to traditional percussion. The beat has a steady shuffle and drives the track along nicely, while sirens and city noise are present quietly in the background at first, before coming to the fore, evoking images of city life and becoming part of the track. Jonno is really going to town on this tune.
