Like Spinning Plates
Providing a golden lining to each Dash Berlin track she’s lend her voice to, Emma Hewitt has grown from a featuring vocalist to a fully-fledged artist, standing her ground. Earlier this year, she released her long-awaited debut album, ‘Burn The Sky Down’, to great success. One of the bonus jewels of the long-awaited album, is the hauntingly beautiful ‘Like Spinning Plates’. An ode to a classic, made dance floor fit by Dash Berlin and sung by one of the most powerful singers in today’s EDM scene. The follow-up to the IDMA winning ‘Waiting’ and club favourite ‘Disarm Yourself’ is exactly the reason why their musical bond should stay strong.
For his ‘United Destination 2012’ compilation, Dash brought his very own interpretation, polishing the diamond of ‘Like Spinning Plates’ to a shiny uplifting trance gem. Australian producer Marlo Hoogstraten, making name under his MaRLo moniker, sharps the edges, bringing out a techy deep interpretation, while Russia’s favourite, Alexander Popov, makes it pound with prog-trance energy.
