Second Gear

Native's latest offering 2nd Gear is a driving, techie, progressive house ditty; a good early on, peak-set affair. It's filled with forward looking ideas and classic sounds and tricks. Definitely a must have for your summer sets. First up on remix duties is Kris Brown with a warm, bouncing, progressive house rendition. Kris adds space, warm retro-style synths and plenty of bounce to the ounce. The next remix is from Simon Firth. Simon hardens the all the elements up and pounds out a remix that is straight up progressive with light trance elements. Final remix on the package is from Simon Latham. Mr. Latham really changes things up bringing in a nice square bassline reminiscent of early electro tracks. Of course he keeps things on the progressive tip with pads and melodies.
