Summer Vibes EP

Mad Hatter Recordings' latest summer EP kicks off with Greg Fenton's Echoes, a punchy deep slice of tech house that fizzes along with tribal style drums and cymbal clashes. Sparse and understated the track filters out with elements of white noise giving way to a short pad which is merely an 'echo'.

Next up Beatmode, teams up with live percussionist Sean Monk for some carnival-esque tech house. With its steel drums and relentless shuffle, Dum Dum evokes a summer party mood with a seductively entertaining vocal sample coming along to join the party.

On the final track, Mad Hatter's Carl Anians teams up with Beatmode and Matt Smallwood for Local Girl. Once again this is upbeat piece of tech house with a vocal sample that you may find hidden in a 90s house classic, where the voice is distorted for a rhythmic effect. Half way through a warm synth pad filters in creating a welcome build and drop giving the track more movement.
