We've reached the thirteenth installment of musical delights from our Leaders Of The New School sub-label! The 'Margharitas EP' is a corking release coming all the way from Athens, Greece, courtesy of Vangelis Kostoxenakis AKA Angel Stoxx one half of esteemed production duo Phatjak. Vangelis has been heavily involved in the dance music scene for 15 years, and under his & partner Evan Kay's Phatjak alias he's had success on labels including Audio Therapy, Hope, Baroque, Armada, Anjuna and of course Toolroom, remixing our massive Trax smash 'Kaliber Is This For Love' last year to huge acclaim!
The title track of the EP is a sparkling seven-minute houser packed full of good vibes that will provide any dancefloor with a hi-octane energy rush. Complete with rippling, twinkling riffs and elastic beats, 'Margharitas' won't fail to get your crowd grooving! Second track 'Nightflower' is an aural delight, a warm house gem flecked with gorgeous uplifting tones and different textures to delight your dancefloor. Buoyed up by Detroit-esque rising synths over a bed of springing drums, this is an aural delight! 'Sunflower' completes the release in a darker vein, teaming intoxicating trance-edged melodies with bouncing bottom end, to create a peak-time jewel that will whip the club into a sweaty mass
